May Wishlist: Gardening Season

Summer is almost here, we’ve even had a few warm days to tease us. Vicky and I have been spending time in our gardens the last few weekends getting them ready for all the summer parties and bbq’s that will no doubt be taking place. Here’s what’s on my gardening wishlist this year.
May Wishlist: Gardening Seasonone – Hanging planters are still trending and there are so many to choose from, I love this simple wooden one, just what I need to brighten up the drab wall on my deck.
two – Another fun summer past time, picnics! All you need is the perfect picnic blanket!
three – Between Vicky and I we have 6 nieces and nephews so having something fun for the kiddos to do is always in the back of our minds. Having a swing in the garden would definitely make your garden the most fun to play in!
four – I’ve been seeing these atomizer’s all over, even at an antique fair recently and I’m still kicking myself for not buying it! This particular one is from M&S and has surely got Vicky’s attention, she has a small copper addiction at the moment. These cute little plant misters will keep your succulents and cacti perfectly watered.
five –  It’s not all about the great outdoors, in summer you want to bring some life inside too, especially with all the beautiful flowers in season at the moment (peonies anyone?) and this whimsical phrenology planter will do just that and add a bit of character too.
six – I am desperately looking for some cute garden furniture, this canary chair is just adorable.
seven – These bamboo bowls are perfect for summer salads at your al freso dinners, I especially love the blue colour of this one.
eight – Another essential at summer parties, cocktails! You’ll need the perfect jug to serve all those sangrias and punches from.
nine – Having pretty tools always makes gardening a little more fun, like these bright yellow secateurs!
ten – Last but not least, let’s not forget all the little creatures that come out of hibernation, this adorable little birdhouse will make your garden popular with the local wildlife.

Happy Gardening!
